Position Overview

Joint Task Force Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Senior Planner

Location: Sumter, SC

***This position is contingent upon award***

Perform as Lead Contractor to liaise with system program offices and other agencies on ACC staff and other JTFs to remain current on JTF ISR system capabilities, developments and initiatives, to advise leadership on policies and positions.

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance

  • Provide instruction in accordance with the Government-provided syllabus.

  • Train JTF personnel regarding current and predicted operational environments, missions, and requirements.

  • Support approximately 6 classes per year with a notional class size of 40 personnel.

  • Provide functional expertise to the 9 AF staff in JTF and/or Command and Control operations to include JTF types and composition, intel issues, intel fielding issues, technical support (e.g. small computers, video teleconference communication, and secure telephone communication), and other operations issues

  • Assist lead contractor Joint Task Force Conceptual Operational Plans, Training, and Execution Senior Planner to review, develop, and prepare JTF CONOPs, conceptual operational plans, and proper execution of JTF process execution.

  • Assist lead contractor Master Scheduler/Event Coordinator to attending exercise planning conferences to include development, initial, mid, and final planning conferences for at least 3 exercises per year.

  • Assist lead contractor Curriculum Senior Planner to advise and assist with an annual Syllabus

  • Review Conference to provide input and changes to RMSE course syllabi.

  • Assist lead contractor Curriculum Senior Planner to review, coordinate, and prepare JTF Stan Eval MQF

  • Assist lead contractor Joint Task Force Computer and Communications Senior Planner to liaise with the ACC Communications Directorate (ACC/A6C), ACC Intelligence Directorate, ISR Systems (ACC/A2O), Air Mobility Command (AMC), and Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) for all issues pertaining to the DJC2 configuration status and changes.

Minimum KSAs

  • 2 years of joint ISR and targeting integration within a Joint or Combined Staff

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • 2 years of experience in the JOPP

Desired KSAs

  • 5 years of Joint Senior Military Intelligence Officer experience

  • 1 year of experience within a ground maneuver staff and/or Special Operations Forces

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university
